This goes right back to the post I did on Witch Hunt. It’s so amazing what one person in a position of authority can accomplish once he’s on a mission. All those people locked up for crimes they never committed on the testimony of one single person trying to dig his own butt out of a prison sentence. What tool in Texas thought that the testimony of only one person should be enough to convict and imprison someone? This poor girl, with four babies and an abusive baby-daddy with a girlfriend who is a known child molester gets locked up for drugs when she’s never touched them in her life… if she takes the deal she’s offered, she loses her support and housing. If she doesn’t, she risks jail time plus losing support and housing because welfare doesn’t support a convicted felon. Goodness. All because of one district attorney with an agenda. Un-freakin-believable.
